How to Cancel Norton Antivirus Subscription?

If you already have a Norton Account, buy you want to cancel its subscription, follow the following step.

  • Manage subscriptions through a Norton account
  • Termination through your Norton Account
  • Log into your Norton Account.
  • Select the Subscriptions tile.
  • Click Unsubscribe under the subscription you want to unsubscribe.
  • Select cancel Norton auto-renewal and let my subscription expire on MM / DD / YYYY, then click Confirm.
  • Click on OK.

While the change is being processed, the subscription status is Termination Pending. When the subscription is terminated, it changes to Expiring. Expired subscriptions display in your Norton Account for 1 year after they expire.

Your subscription is terminated. You receive confirmation of the termination by email.
After canceling Norton’s subscription, you can continue to use paid products and features until the end of the current subscription period. At this point, you must renew your subscription if you want to maintain access to paid products and features.

If you have multiple Norton subscriptions, you must repeat the above steps for each subscription you want to terminate.

Canceling a subscription through your Norton Account

If you are unable to cancel a subscription from your Norton Account, we recommend that you try one of the following methods:

  • Termination via the Norton Customer Portal
  • Termination via Norton Support
  • Termination via the Norton Customer Portal

The ability to terminate a subscription through the Norton Customer Portal is only applicable if you have placed your order with the portal. To find out who the distributor for your order was, check the order confirmation email you received after purchasing or studying your bank or credit card statement.

The distributor of your order:

  • Open the order confirmation email you received from [email protected] (or [email protected] for order confirmation emails) after purchasing the subscription.
  • See your order number and login password.
  • Click on the link below to open the Norton Customer Portal :
  • https://www.Norton.com/find-order
  • Enter the order number and password found on the order confirmation email, then click Connect.
  • Go to the Your subscriptions section and click Unsubscribe next to the subscription you want to end.
  • Select Cancel automatic renewal and let my subscription expire on MM / DD / YYYY and click Confirm
  • Click on OK.

When the subscription is terminated, the status changes to Expiring.

Find your order number (sometimes also referred to as Order ID or Reference ID) in the purchase confirmation email you received after purchasing the subscription.

  • Request help from Norton
  • Fill in all the necessary fields, then click Submit Request.

Your cancellation request has been sent. A Norton support agent will contact you to confirm that your request is being processed.

After canceling a Norton subscription, you can continue to use paid products and features until the end of the current subscription period. At this point, you must renew your subscription if you want to maintain access to paid products and features.
